JESSICA P. SAROWITZ ACCEPTS IMPACT AWARD FROM NATIONAL HISPANICS IN MEDIA COALITION

"Among the nominees was Jessica P. Sarowitz, Executive Producer of Miraflores Films' WITH THIS LIGHT and Managing Partner of 4S Bay Partners, LLC, who was introduced by U.S. Representative Joaquin Castro."

In her speech, Jessica thanked the dedicated teams at 4S Bay Partners, Julian Grace Foundation, and Miraflores Films. She shared her story about creating a documentary on Sor Maria Rosa Leggol, a nun from Honduras, highlighting the profound impact she had on Honduran children in poverty. Emphasizing the values of service and family instilled by her immigrant parents, Jessica announced the establishment of Stocker Street Creative, a new film studio in Baldwin Hills. This studio, the first solely owned by a Latino, aims to provide resources to BIPOC filmmakers and artists.

The evening was hosted by actor and activist Francia Raisa and entertainment and sports host MJ Acosta-Ruiz. Other honorees included:
